Requested move 12 November 2023[edit]

The result of the move request was: moved to Federazione Nazionale Statali. Participants discussed various translations of the organization's original Italian name, and while I see consensus to move away from the current title, there doesn't seem to be a strong consensus to move to any specific English name. Meanwhile, it was also suggested that the organization is discussed rarely enough in translation that the Italian title might itself be a more appropriate title for the article. This view gained some traction, and no other users appeared to have any concerns about it, leading me to find a consensus (albeit a weak one) in support of adopting the Italian name. There wasn't an official translation of this union's name. I agree alternatives might be more accurate than this one, but I can't find any source which has translated it as "National State Employees Federation". Alternatives I can find in use are "Federation of Civil Servants", "National Federation of Public Workers", and "Federation of Government Workers". I think one of these would be preferable as in actual use, perhaps the last? Warofdreams talk 00:05, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
