In China, ferrosilicon is used to make magnesium, and China is the world's leading supplier of magnesium so a link to magnesium, and stubs for pidgeon process and silicothermic would be appropriate.

It is an alloy, not a compound. We don't use chemboxes for these (properties vary depending on alloying composition; no chem identifiers, etc.). Materialscientist (talk) 02:36, 25 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
