Yes I agree as they are different names for the same ligament. Peter Hughes (medical student)

Sure, I'll do it, if I can find out how... Horia 00:21, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

LCL and Cycling

[edit]

This ligament is often sore for intermediate cyclists, and proper stretching is usually neglected.

Not sure if this merits the front page. To stretch, assume a crossed position with your legs like you have to pee. The back leg will be the one you are stretching (bend your pelvis here and there to get the hang of it). This can also be done while lying down. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.193.47.228 (talk) 21:54, 28 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

  • Thanks for the tips on stretching. I came to this page because I seem to have injured my LCL and was looking for ways to stretch/strengthen. Any tips anyone has would be great. Thanks!

Relationship to the ALL

[edit]

Pictures recently published show the LCL and the recently discovered ALL seem to share a common connection point on the outside of the femur. Perhaps this article should be updated.CherylJosie (talk) 20:26, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Somehow Amakuru I wasn't aware of this and it is probably better to retract the request. Thank you --Iztwoz (talk) 20:05, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
