Medals in pairs event

[edit]

There is an interesting story at http://www.sports-reference.com/olympics/winter/1964/FSK/mixed-pairs.html that ought to be included here. — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 17:56, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The pairs silver medals stripping used to be on this page. I'm not sure why it was removed. I've restored the version that used to be in the article. I'm working on digging up a reputable source. Kolindigo (talk) 22:26, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Pairs table needs to be corrected. This article from the NY Times today reports that the IOC has clarified the results such that the silver is held by BOTH the disqualified German pair and the former bronze Canadian pair, with the American pair holding bronze. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/14/sports/olympics/1964-olympic-skating-pair-only-now-discovering-their-place.html?smid=re-share

I don't trust my wikipedia editing skills to go tromping around in a table. Could you tend to it? IvyGold (talk) 20:34, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
