Page hijack[edit]

Some pretty irresponsible editing has taken place here. This article was about the renaissance historian Filippo Barbieri; admittedly it was only a stub, but not unimportant. Then an IP user decided to make it about a different person of the same name and simply deleted what was there before. This is quite unacceptable. I see that Cntras already made this point and was simply reverted. This is not the way we work. Please be a little more careful about such things in future.

What we need here is some kind of disambiguation between two articles, and the stub on the historian needs to be put back. I suggest moving this to Filippo Barbieri (cyclist), creating Filippo Barbieri (historian) and using the simple Filippo Barbieri as a disambig. There are other possibilities, but if nobody else has a proposal, I will do this. --Doric Loon (talk) 11:48, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds reasonable. Go ahead. -Cntras (talk) 12:44, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OK, doing it now. --Doric Loon (talk) 14:24, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
