Article issues?[edit]

I think this article is very rushed and should be redirected or moved to a draft. Issues include bare references not filled out, fansites such as Backtothebay in the sources, undue weight placed of Digital Spy in the sources, no real development information and lots of missing information. I am currently working on an article for this alongside another editor User:JuneGloom07/Final. It has taken months, lots of research and time - we are not even close to finishing it either. However we have 5x more content in it.Rain the 1 15:40, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate this article's effort, but I do agree with User:Raintheone on this, as their article has been carefully drafted and has a lot more content. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 22:31, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think there's any issue in having this in the mainspace now it's been aired. The article you've drafted certainly looks sufficient to continue to be built as part of the main project. Wikipedia is a work in progress, after all. Why don't you just go ahead and integrate it here? U-Mos (talk) 01:22, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Raintheone and JuneGloom07, just nudging and inviting you again to go ahead and incorporate the substantial work you've done into this article. The longer it's left, the more users are going to contribute work that overlaps with yours here, and no one wants that. U-Mos (talk) 22:32, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why should we be the ones to incorporate our work? How about the work done here is incorporated into our draft instead? We had the foresight to start the article early and put in the effort, but we're also the ones who have to give up our hard work? That doesn't seem right. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:59, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Woah there, no one's talking about you giving up your work. We can all see that what you've done is superior to the starting work of this article as it currently is, and in the majority of places should overwrite what is currently here. Obviously it's up to you two when you want to move your work to the mainspace (and it wouldn't seem right for anyone else to do so), but I don't see what you're waiting for. U-Mos (talk) 02:45, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We want to to do more work on it first so I best start. There is plenty to add and I would not like to create something mediocre. Is it okay if we wait longer?Rain the 1 06:16, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Like I say, it's entirely up to you - I just fear the discrepancies will build, and editors will put work in here in the meantime that will inevitably go to waste, but there have been relatively few edits this week so maybe it won't be too much of a problem. Page name[edit]

Nobody is going to search for "Episode 8903", it's an ambiguous title. Shouldn't the page name be Episode 8903 (Neighbours)? Digifiend (talk) 18:10, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Breaking the fourth wall[edit]

Is it worth mentioning somewhere that Jackie Woodbourne broke the fourth wall during her monologue when she mentioned those "who've watched us from afar"? This is Paul (talk) 21:13, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

RTE version[edit]

Did RTE (an Irish broadcaster) show the Australian version, the Channel 5 version or a completely different version? PS did RTE split the finale into two episodes shown on different days? (78.19.36.67 (talk) 11:55, 5 August 2022 (UTC))[reply]

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Neighbours: The Finale which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 08:49, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
