This is a contested technical request (permalink). -St3095 (?) 17:52, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I understand the standard edition is the 50 track version, as it celebrates Madonna's 50 number 1 club hits. The 16-track version is an abridged version to the standard edition. It does not seem to make sense to celebrate 50 hits with 16 tracks. Mannoragrace (talk) 18:43, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Of the sources cited for the article, only one calls the 50-track version a "deluxe" version, whereas the other sources (as well as Madonna's own website) do not call the 50-track version "deluxe" but do refer to the 16-track version as "abridged" or "condensed." I edited the article accordingly. Ww adh77 (talk) 22:07, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Mannoragrace and Ww adh77: I'm concerned that both of your replies may not be considered oppose votes even though it appears you are both opposed. Would either of you care to make them official by voting oppose below? Ss112 03:52, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Finally Enough Love is more concise and represents all editions. The fact that the 16-track version will also be released in various formats (vinyl, CD, streaming, digital), meaning that it's just as notable as the 50-track version. Bluesatellite (talk) 01:44, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. My reasoning in starting the article at this location is exactly what @Mannoragrace: and @Ww adh77: said above—the album exists to commemorate Madonna's 50 number ones on the US Dance chart. That meaning is lost when we get rid of the 50 Number Ones part of the title or treat it as a subtitle. The 16-track abridged edition seems to exist to placate those who want to buy the album but don't want to spend the money for the full (standard) 50-track edition. The 50 number ones edition should not be treated as a deluxe version of the "standard" 16-track edition. I also believe the argument (raised by Ww adh77) that the sources treat the 16-track edition as abridged and therefore not the full proper album is compelling. Ss112 03:54, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Outside of the two sources that shorten the complete album title (probably for the sake of a more compact heading), I fail to find another source that talks about the album without mentioning the title in its entirety, be it retail websites or her official website. If the album is generally referred to as Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones I see no reason why the article on Wikipedia should leave that important specification out. As @Ss112: already pointed out, the addition 50 Number Ones specifically refers to the amount of number-one hits she's scored on the US Dance chart, which is basically the key indicator for naming the compilation the way they did. Lk95 (talk) 08:52, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The album is called '50 Number Ones' to celebrate 50 nubmer one dance club hits by Madonna. The 16-track version is an "abridged version", as it is stated on Madonna's official wesbite. Also, I believe the abridged version will be released before the actual album as a sort of preview or teasrer for the official release of the complete album. So we'll have 2 realeases: the standard 50-track and the digital (abridged) 16-track. Mannoragrace (talk) 14:06, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Vera Re-inserted peak. I had the impression saw the peak at number 39, when was originally inserted by another user. But I couldn't find the appropriate archived version to prove that. Thanks, --Apoxyomenus (talk) 20:45, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
