I contest the speedy deletion of this page. It provides valuable background information for another band: Seventh Angel. This is an international band with 15+ years history with strong connections with Meltdown and Greenbelt festivals. I am in the preliminary stages of creating it and more info will be added shortly. I am currently sourcing several articals and websites that review and article the band, including several major christan music organisations and God TV. I also submit a request for this page to be userfied should it be deleted.

Update: I have now added several references and intend to cite more material from these and I will add other references to support band's notability. Regards, Thetictocmonkey 21:19, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have begun to provide stronger evidence for this page. I have begun to provide much that comes under Article 1 of the Wikipedia:Notability (music) criteria. Also, the band's link to Terl Bryant gives some evidence under Article 6 of ibid along with Simon Bibby and Mark Broomhead's member ship of Seventh Angel (that is two or more members). Also their collaboration with the Cantamus Girls Choir who are award winning and renowned. Regards, Thetictocmonkey 23:15, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I feel that the articles cited, particularly the Cross Rhythms articles, show that the band "# Is frequently covered in publications devoted to a notable sub-culture." - namely that of Contemporary Christian music. Regards, Thetictocmonkey 18:36, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bio[edit]

I intend to flesh out the band bio ASAP. I will use the sources cited to gain this information. Regards, Thetictocmonkey 21:31, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Albums[edit]

I have named all the albums and cited sources. I will add more information about them shortly. Regards, Thetictocmonkey 21:32, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sections[edit]

I intend to add a section about the bands live music history. I will include information about Greenbelt and Meltdown as well as their European tours to Poland, Italy etc. and UK gigs as well. Regards, Thetictocmonkey 21:35, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirection[edit]

In good faith, I've redirected this to the parent rather than outright deletion. It is speedy eligible—notability is not inherited, so for speedy to be avoided, notability would need to be asserted for this band, not some other band members may have been associated with. The only "sources" provided here are some site called "Cross Rhythms", which doesn't even provide real-name author attribution for its articles, indication of editorial control or discrimination in coverage, or other hallmarks of reliability. This might be appropriate for a merge into the parent (hence the redirect, to allow for that), but it is not appropriate for a standalone article.
