Infobox "Result"

[edit]

Please note that Template:Infobox military conflict#Parameters states against "result" that "this parameter may use one of two standard terms: "X victory" or "Inconclusive"." The infobox has been amended to reflect this. Please read the template "result" guidance in full before amending or reverting. It would probably be best to discuss any proposed change here first to seek consensus. Thanks. Gog the Mild (talk) 20:00, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: I do worry that the title of this conflict does not seem to appear in the sources quoted, tying together a series of conflicts and rebellions and conferring the title of 'First Scutari-Ottoman War' and possibly being WP:SYNTH... This title also does not get any hits in Gsearch...

Kara Mahmud Pasha's uprising against the Ottoman state is commonly referred to as a rebellion in most sources. However, I prefered to name it as the First Scutari-Ottoman war due to the distinct status of the Pashalik of Scutari, which functioned as a de facto independent state with its own institutions and laws. Then it should be labelled a rebellion per Wikipedia:Article titles. Annwfwn (talk) 13:09, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
