Stephen A. Smith Controversy with J.R. Smith

[edit]

Racial implications were made by both J.R. and Stephen A. Smith regarding hoodies worn in the NBA produced by Nike as a warm-up pullover. Stephen A. holds a stance on hoodies being unprofessional and related to Treyvon Martin, while J.R. Smith feels he is being singled out of the many whom feel it is a natural style. The controversy ended in a note to J.R. Smith that acts a surrender of Stephen A. Smith in order to eliminate any hard feelings after J.R. Smith's active Twitter account. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aromagna (talkcontribs) 02:21, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
