Fair use rationale for Image:FizBrown Corrie.jpg

[edit]

Image:FizBrown Corrie.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Fiz Helped John Hide the Bodies?!

[edit]

It claims this in the first paragraph. She did not. In Canada, she's just now impersonating Mrs. Colin Fishwich after Joy's death, and she still doesn't even know.

Proposal!?

[edit]

Why does John Stape's page have word of all the recent storylines incudling the upcoming proposal,And Fiz's page is still stuck on Home Schooling? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.25.31.148 (talk) 13:05, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've just noticed that this page has been vandalised to include the phrase "bum her" and a few others. I don't have a wiki account, nor do I know much about the editing process, so I just wanted to put it here so someone could fix it? Sorry if I've typed this in the wrong place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.34.51.105 (talk) 21:08, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dumped?!

[edit]

I've just heard rumors that John is gonna dump Fiz, Is that true? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.25.17.233 (talk) 11:27, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Common name?

[edit]

She is known as Fiz Stape, not Fiz Brown, so this needs to be moved back. AD 01:33, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with this. Search engine results turn up far more results for Fiz Stape than Fiz Brown. It's not as easy as just deciding on which name the character has had longest. Ooh, Fruity @ Ooh, Chatty 15:54, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well no, as per WP:COMMONNAME it should be left like this. Such as for example, Janine Butcher. --GSorbyDesroid - (Contribs!) 18:38, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If the character gets married, divorced, or adopted then they can still be identified under their maiden name, which is why it should be left as that. So if she decides to divorce john stape and go off with norris and get married then the would be a pain to change it from Stape -> Brown -> Cole for an example. So best just left as Brown with wiki links for her new name to redirect to the main page! Bankhallbretherton (talk) 21:35, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But surely going by that theory Emily Bishop should become Emily Nugent, Rita Sullivan to Littlewood and Dierdre Barlow to Hunt? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.3.56.65 (talk) 09:47, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, revisiting this. Try looking at the google search results maybe? Fiz Stape - Fiz Brown. I don't see how this one is any different to Becky McDonald. They only married two months prior to the Stapes. Yes, Fiz has five years on Becky, but high-profile stories for Fiz were few and far between prior to Stape's arrival in '07. You just posted news links for recent coverage. Look in the archive for a better outlook. Brown Stape Then there are other news archives. Aside - your reason is not backed up in the article - How do we know these are her "high profile" storylines when they are not even mentioned in the correct context, if at all. I guess it would give a better reflection if someone added the found sources to the article. Most of the sources on Becky's page say McDonald - 40 + sources in waiting. But I'm open to change on that, it is up to the community to discuss that at her talk.Rain the 1 BAM 00:35, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
