As a Charlotte native, the city doesn't fly the blue saltire any longer, only the green crown flag. Should the green crown become standard? 152.43.51.250 (talk) 18:43, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have submitted a public records request to the city asking for clarification on the matter. Until then, the current information is correct given the references available. —Jordano53 20:57, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Per a city official: “ Green is the city’s primary color so our current stock of flags is green with a white crown. I’ve only been with the city since 2019 so I have no knowledge about blue flags but green has been our primary color for several decades.” The article will be changed accordingly, when I am able. Some unspecified city official who clearly said they don't actually know is not a reliable source. While the green flag is the one more often flown, it has not been made the sole official flag of the city and is instead intended to represent city government organizations rather than the city itself. Even if it was actually changed, you would need a citeable source before updating this page. --eduardog3000 (talk) 17:58, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
