Does he really discuss his time as "The Stig"? Maybe I'm being stupid, but I read the book and couldn't find any mention of Top Gear. Can somebody help me with a reference?

I haven't read the book, but if he doesn't discuss it, the article should be corrected. (The reprint cover proclaims him as TV's "The Stig", though. (Maybe just marketing?)) --Piet Delport 12:20, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bit late I know but I own the book and he talks about being the stig in detail in it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.144.251 (talk) 20:57, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've got the 2002 first edition, and there's no mention of The Stig in it. Since the current format of Top Gear was first broadcast in October 2002, I suspect that when the book was originally written he wasn't The Stig, and that the Stigstuff was added to later editions for marketing reasons, as Piet said above.
