Shopping Centre or Neighbourhood?[edit]

Is this article meant to be about the shopping centre (Fleetwood Town Centre), Surrey's designation fo the area as a town centre, or about the area itself? If it's the latter it strikes me it should be Fleetwood (Surrey) as opposed to "Town Centre"; what's the status on Guildford vs Guildford Town Centre, Metrotown Centre vs. Metrotown (Burnaby) and similar situations?Skookum1 20:17, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The opening sentence of the article states: Fleetwood Town Centre is a town centre of Surrey, British Columbia. I assume by that it is about the town centre in Surrey. Newton and Guildford have the same naming style, but Cloverdale, Whalley and South Surrey do not. --Kmsiever 23:34, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please edit the boundaries description to reflect the true geographic position of the streets. Street numbers in Surrey increase West to East...144 is to the West, 172 is to the East...thanks, S. Walton — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.16.198.224 (talk) 17:55, 19 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Photo[edit]

I have removed the photo of the library. It does not represent the Fleetwood Town Centre. Just like the flag at Flag Chev doesn't represent Guildford Town Centre, and Toys R Us doesn't represent Whalley Town Centre. In an article on a neighbourhood, accompanying photos should illustrate the neighbourhood, which the library photo does not. Remember, not everyone who is reading the article lives in Fleetwood, and is thus not familiar with the neighbourhood. Including the library photo does very little to give them an idea of what the neighbourhood is like. The library photo would be perfect for a section on the library or even an article on the library itself. --Kmsiever (talk) 16:40, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
