Florence died many years ago, she did not write this page. I have in my possession her papers. She is mentioned in the pages for Edna Phillips and Lucile Lawrence. I don't have time to learn all the tools here, so if someone wants to put in page links, that would be cool. The American Harp Society has a website, as well. When I get into Florence's papers again, I can detail which radio networks she played on, when, and what programs. I intend to put in more detail. One of my issues with Wikipedia is the relying on other sources for verification, when I am providing primary sources of information, authoritative as they can be on a site where anyone can mess with an entry. The other issue is, when dealing with harpists, you are dealing with people who are marginalized, and there is not necessarily much in the way of documentation. It is unusual that Flo had her own radio shows, she was perhaps the first, but she made no LPs to speak of. ```` ````
