Notability

[edit]

FloristWare does not (based on the text of the article) appear to be the first package of its kind, nor does the article articulate any persuasive reason why FloristWare is notable in its industry. Wikipedia:Notability WP:NOT says that "[i]f a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to satisfy the inclusion criteria for a stand-alone article." Could someone expand this article to describe what makes it notable? Warmfuzzygrrl | Talk 17:53, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The following exerpt from Flowerchat: "I posted over the weekend regarding a recommendation for a POS system. We actually tested the FloristWare a while back and a lot of negative experiences with it. So I guess that is why I'm posted this is to see if everyone have had the same experience?? A lot of our negative experience use with Susan Page, their "sales" rep. She had the worst attitude ever and on many conversations, she was very mouthy and rude us. We could not believe how she would talk to us. We tried to contact Mark Anderson, but he would never return our phone calls or emails. So we figured that based on some other negative feedback and our experience with Floristware this was how they ran their company. Susan Page on multi occasions would tell us one thing and then the very next call tell us the total opposite. We would bring that up and she would get very defensive and seem like she was digging her way out of a hole.

As for the actual POS system, who would want to spend that much time going through that many screen shots to input an order??? I don't know if they software is designed for the slow ma and pa florist, but there is no way a high volume florist could run efficiently with their program.

So I don't what to think. I have also heard these same kind of experiences from other florist among associations we belong to. But there seems to be a strong following here on flowerchat." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.61.104.90 (talk) 21:39, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
