I'm not sure they actually "signed to" London Records. Heavenly had a distribution deal with London for a time and Flowered Up were part of that. -88.109.254.28 12:23, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flowered Up signed an exclusive record deal with London Records. It was a massive learning curve and a big mistake in hindsight. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Despirate (talkcontribs) 18:20, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reformed in 2002/2003-ish?

[edit]

"Flowered Up tried to re-form in 2007, but Dorney refused, and the planned reunion tour was cancelled."

In my memory *Flowered Up* briefly reunited in the early 2000's, but it didn't work out. Something like Tim Dorney insisting that Liam got off the drugs, it worked for a bit, but then he relapsed and Tim walked away? Now, I've got no references for this and I don't know where I heard/read it, so I absolutely cannot add it to the article. However, if anyone finds a reference I think it would be an important addition, as it puts Dorney's refusal to reform again in 2007 in a very different light, and gives some indication of the troubles Liam was having that would later lead to his death. Flowered Up initially sought to reform in 2003. We were offered the opportunity to play 'Loaded in the Park' along with Happy Mondays the following summer, a gig we had wanted from the very beginning. For reasons unknown it never happened despite many attempts and both bands being very keen. Unfortunately due to inflated egos and very questionable reasons for wanting to actually reform on behalf of some I chose to part company at that point. I felt the bands integrity had been compromised and no longer represented it's original purpose. As Liam had previously stated 'It was no longer fun'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Despirate (talkcontribs) 18:42, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This article indicates that in 2001 Liam was clean, and they reformed as "Greedy Soul", but broke up after some issues with their manager; also that they reformed again in 2005 but it was Joe's problem with drugs that caused them to break up again. So it sounds like they had two reformations prior to the attempt in 2007. Not sure how to or even whether to try and integrate this with the page.
