- Defensive ??? How on earth can this be defensive ? Wikipedia is just another US propaganda tool — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.145.33.244 (talk) 08:20, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know if it's a defensive exercise or not, but the article sure reads like a piece of propaganda. POV template added. --MaeseLeon (talk) 09:48, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

What does Foal Eagle mean?
[edit]To me, a foal is the child of a horse. The eagle is a bird. So what is Foal Eagle intended to mean? Is it a foal eagle, a species of bird? Or Horse, son of Eagle?
Could somebody please check it out, and enter it into the text?
thank you very much/R 213.112.218.49 (talk) 10:35, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
NPOV
[edit]While defensive in nature and conducted primarily as a rear area security and stability training exercise,
the article claims the above, but this is clearly not the case this year, ROK/US forces practiced 'decapitation strikes' designed to target DPRK leadership when the DPRK says that these exercises are aggressive and constitute preparation for an invasion, this is not an unreasonable interpretation of these exercises
i think the article should give more weight to legitimate DPRK objections
as the article states, these are the largest war games in the world, held continuously ever year no other military exercise like this exists in the world this is surely reasonably seen as a provocation by the DPRK
- Certainly. POV template added. --MaeseLeon (talk) 09:49, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

[edit]This couldn't have had anything with the sinking of the Cheonan a year later. Unless they had a psychic premonition. 2601:1C0:8201:5479:DD80:1845:6E5F:2379 (talk) 05:40, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
