This article does give a lot of good information on the topic, but no resources or references. While it does give a lot of reasonable causes for the problem, it does not, however, give any solutions for the problem, nor does it give any advice on how to avoid this issue. Do the children that expierence food neophobia need counseling? Do they need to see a nutritionist to make sure they are eating enough of the things they should be eating? I researched some of my questions and found that children from a young age should be exposed to a variety of foods. Also, if children do develop food neophobia, it is important for them to see a Pediatric Nutritionist, because this problem, if not taken care of, could lead to malnutrition, or the development of eating disorders later on in life.
