Fair use rationale for Image:Foofur1.jpg[edit]

Image:Foofur1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Owner[edit]

I have attempted to find the actual current owner of this show but so far i have come to brick walls due to not being able to get returned contacts. The show is credited to have been produced by Hanna Barbera and SEPP. Warner Brothers owns Hanna Barbera but has stated they do not own this show as it was done for work for hire.

So naturally this must mean SEPP is the owner but the problem with that is SEPP is no longer functioning meaning the rights must be in the hands of SEPP's parent company Dupuis or SEPP's former head Freddy Monnickendam. Now my attempt to contact Dupuis on the issue was not returned and i have no way of knowing if Monnickendam is still alive and/or how to contact him or his next of kin.

I am aware the show did get DVD releases in dutch region 2, as found online in my research since this began in trying to find out who owns it to ask for it to be brought to DVD in region 1, the company that distributed it there was BrightVision Entertainment. My inquiry to them about who's gave them liscense to it was not returned either.

If anyone with any pull or knowledge please feel free to impart this and know region 1 fans want this show on DVD. We remember it from when it did air in the US and many people ask Warner Brothers for it every year. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.171.176.158 (talk) 14:34, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?[edit]

Is there any reason why someone re-added "Children's television series" to the genre section in the markup outside of the reason that my edit removing it accidentally broke it? 96.18.182.191 (talk) 20:03, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
