One twentieth of a share?

[edit]

This is said now:

Each club in La Liga in any given season owns one twentieth of a share in the league itself, meaning that they are all supposedly equal owners with equal rights and responsibilities.

It might be my English that is bad, but as a share in itself is only part of the whole, owning 1/20 of a share should mean that the 20 clubs don't own the whole league. :) (More reasonable seems either owns one twentieth of the league or owns a share of one twentieth of the league or something similar.)
