This should be rated as mid-importance as this was one of the most important tractors in history.--Reallyreallycold (talk) 13:00, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is also start-class.--Reallyreallycold (talk) 13:00, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How can it get a rating when its not in any WikiProject to assign a rating to the article ? Does project Agriculture cover mechanical items like tractors ?
Also it reads as a more like PR Quotes, and Tell a reader very little about the 5000 other tha it sold well in Europe generally. More detail needed - spec, what model replaced it, options etc the photo shows one with 4-wd (none standard) + A 3 rd party lightweight cab (dealer/Aftermarket fit). How many were actually sold ? - BulldozerD11 (talk) 17:46, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing[edit]

Ford 5000 was known as Super Major 5000 on continental Europe, after 1968 it was named only Ford 5000 and 1975, the new series 600 replaced also the Ford 5000 with the new name Ford 5600. 1964-1968: 62 DIN PS 1968-75: 68 DIN PS — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.79.42.189 (talk) 09:13, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Naming[edit]

The naming is wrong. The tractor was called Ford Super Major 5000 in Europe and Ford 5000 in America. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.250.181.12 (talk) 15:59, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
