Studio vs. compilation album[edit]

I am starting a section here so the edit warring between the two descriptions of the album can reach a consensus. The article was started as a studio album and has recently been changed to a compilation album based on the fact that the songs have previously been written and that they are covers of popular Filipino songs. The link to Archelta's web page about the album states "“Forevermore” is a collection of all original Filipino classic love songs written in English and composed by some of the Philippines’ renowned songwriters like Ogie Alcasid, Louie Ocampo, Jay Durias, Jimmy Antiporda, Cecil Azarcon, among others." The statement with the reading of the two articles I listed above, show that this is a studio album of newly recorded music made specifically for this album and not a compilation album. It would also be helpful if there were sources that said this was a compilation album. Until there are sources and a consensus here, I am going to change it back to a studio album with an edit summary telling people about the discussion here. The songs from the album is NOT made specifically for the album; it's collection of COVERS of popular classic Filipino songs...
so the album is a Compilation album not a studio album besides it were recorded and released exclusively in the Philippines.

(copied from my talk page so that all the discussion can be in one location)From the source, it states that the a album is a compilation album and besides why would DAvid released a studio album which was exclusively released in the Philippines... The tracks in album are all covers, it's not specifically written for the album...

The songs were specifically RECORDED for this album. Covers of songs specifically recorded for an album makes the album a studio album. Single-artist compilation albums consist of greatest hits/best of/singles and/or rarities/B-sides. Christmas from the Heart (David Archuleta album) is Archuleta's second studio album and consists of covers specifically recorded for the album. A Thousand Different Ways by Clay Aiken is another example of a studio album that consists of covers specifically record for the album. As for the sources, I do not find either of them to be reliable sources. The Reny's Room "source" consists of two sentences and two videos. I also asked for a consensus to be formed here instead of reverting back to identifying the album as a compilation and as there is no consensus for it to be labeled as such, I am going to revert back to the original studio album description.
