Clean-up

[edit]

I've tried to clean up this article. The person who wrote it, clearly, is a theory weenie who values obtuseness over clarity of writing. Also, hyperbole was an issue ("the monumental Leone "Dollars" trilogy"—oh please).

I'd ask anyone else who edits this article to please keep in mind five simple rules:

  • Clarity.
  • Clarity.
  • Clarity.
  • Clarity.
  • And finally...Clarity.

Thanks. --TallulahBelle 23:04, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clarity yes, but I'd add to that, tone. An informal writing style detracts from the encyclopedic value of this article. I think that we should consider flagging it as in need of attention from an expert. --130.15.224.105 (talk) 03:41, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Introduction

[edit]

Hello fellow wikipedians!

When viewing this page, I noticed a few areas that could benefit from revisions. As seen in the history of this page, it could benefit from some attention and has room for improvement.

I plan to workshop this page in my sandbox over the next few weeks and then submit my final edits once I finish. My plan for edits includes revision of structure and organization, focus on maintaining a neutral tone, and consistant clarity throughout each section.

I look forward to hearing your feedback. Lilycloud13 (talk) 18:11, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
