NPOV?[edit]

"The School is very large and dominant in its sports and its band. The school has great teachers and staff, but is lacking in some academic areas. Overall this school is great."
I'm not sure who wrote this version, but this is blatantly opinionated. Comments?
I cleaned up the article, made some improvements, and removed the POV tag. Truthanado 02:14, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agree I still think the section about the Athletics should be cleaned up. This is essentially an article about the 2006/2005 football teams with a minor one paragraph mention of the swim team. As far as football goes it doesn't even speak about any other events in the team's history which has existed since 1991. I don't think it's necessary to list every team member here. Perhaps a separate article devoted to the football and swim teams would do the trick. Also there was a former NBA player for the New York Knicks who attended the school (I forget his name now) and they have baseball, handball (I think), volleyball, and the other usual sports, none of which are mentioned here. This article just seems very biased to one particular athletic team. --Spacemonkeyiv (talk) 15:38, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anything besides Athletics?[edit]

I would like to see some other information about this school posted. What about their graduation and retention rates, scores and grades, important alumni, role in the community, etc.? --Spacemonkeyiv (talk) 15:38, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Giving Fort Hamilton A Proper Space on Wikipedia[edit]

What I have so far is very clumsy and without citations, I DO have the citations available but I spent a lot of time already on adding everything you see on the page EXCEPT for the Athletics headline. Instead of complaining that the former Athletic description was completely unnecessary, I realized that on my own I could begin a useful wikipedia entry for Fort Hamilton Highschool (I guess I can owe it THAT much as I spent 4 years there...). As of now: citations are obviously needed, but I still believe that the level of organization is clumsy. There really is not alot of information about Fort Hamilton, and the DOE was my main source (as well as personal experience). Any one with more content and an idea, and the time to set forth that idea, please do add!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by AWikiWikWik (talkcontribs) 07:55, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question on Internal Linking[edit]

For Albert King, the link that I want is not linked directly to the correct albert king (a "disambiguation" as Wikipedia puts it). If anyone can fix that so that there is a direct link to the "Albert King (basketball)" page it would be much appreciated!--AWikiWikWik (talk) 08:04, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
