Did they have powder and shot for the cannon?
[edit]On a Superduck tour of Boston (July 2009) we were told that the rebels (sorry, revolutionary forces) did not actually have the powder and shot to make good on the apparent threat posed by the Dorchester Heights fortifications - any truth in this? Moletrouser (talk) 14:26, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- Considering that guns were being fired from other positions before the heights were occupied, I would think they had powder and shot. I wouldn't believe everything a tour guide says; good stories, questionable history. Magic♪piano 20:48, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
