Singluar or plural

[edit]

The phrase 'Forty winks' always means a single nap but it is wrong to say that can be used in the singular or plural. One can never have 'a forty winks'. Apoliheres (talk) 20:57, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Bible?

[edit]

The article reads "Finally almost so as to emphasize the link between forty winks and its biblical relationship . . ." I'm sorry, what biblical relationship? This feels very random and is completely unexplained. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.194.253.54 (talk) 16:57, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
