Title of article is inconsistent with content[edit]
If a frame is defined via the frame condition as described in the article, a frame requires an inner product space. The title of the article, frame of a vector space, is therefore incorrect. I suggest changing it to frame (linear algebra). 128.197.11.204 (talk) 16:36, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Frame of a vector space → Frame (linear algebra) – As defined in this article, a frame requires an inner product space, not just a vector space. One possible solution would be to rename the article to frame (inner product space), but I think a better solution is to name it frame (linear algebra), which is a name of the field of mathematics in which this topic arises. The page that already exists at that title provides little information beyond disambiguating between "frame" and "k-frame", which is already done by the hatnote at the top of this article. J. - I have already merged frame (signal processing) into this article, so all that remains is to move this page to frame (linear algebra), replacing the contents of that page. That will place all the "frame" information there with no significant overlaps, duplication, or confusing article titles.
- Oppose. There is useful text at frame (linear algebra) which should be merged and the history of that page preserved. The end result article will be much the same but the process needs to be a little more involved than just a move. Andrewa (talk) 21:49, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Andrewa: Okay, should I incorporate the contents of that page into this article, close that article as merged, move any information about "k-frames" to the k-frames article, then move this article to "frame (linear algebra)"?
