Birthdate

[edit]

The two sources currently cited in the article which assert a birthdate for Reid have conflicting info (one is 1913 and one is 1918). I think IBDB (1913) is generally more reliable than FilmReference.com (1918), so I've gone with 1913. However, if anyone has access to a definitive source for this info, please let me know and I can implement it. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 22:31, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jason47a notes here, "Corrected birth date to 1914. More concrete info comes from the 1930 census & the many soap magazine articles celebrating her 90th bday in 2004." That's great, but then please cite some of these copious sources, or 1914 is no more reliable than other dates.— TAnthonyTalk 04:51, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, it is super-spooky that the beloved Reid has just died ... she will be greatly missed. On the subject of this article and making it the best that it can be to honor Reid, SoapCentral.com is still a somewhat dubious source; as thorough as it may seem, I have seen some sloppy errors in the past. I'm on the lookout for an obituary to come out from a more reliable source, but if anyone sees one first, please let me know. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 17:59, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
