Notability tag[edit]

@Mushy Yank: Regarding your removal of the {{notability}} tag, which independent sources are you referring to? As far as I can discern, the refs are as follows:

  1. NYFA: Subject's school; non-independent
  2. Il Centro: Decent coverage in a local newspaper
  3. Rete8: Tiny blurb, hardly "significant" coverage
  4. NYFA: Subject's school; non-independent
  5. PRWeb: Press release by subject's school; non-independent
  6. Animation Magazine: Non-independent interview
  7. NYFA: Subject's school; non-independent
  8. NYFA: Subject's school; non-independent
  9. Global NewsWire: Press release by subject's school; non-independent
  10. Befores % Afters: Non-independent interview
  11. NYFA: Subject's school; non-independent
  12. Cinema & Video International: Name in list; not significant coverage
  13. Visual Effects Society: Non-independent
  14. PrimaDaNoi.it: Minor "look what someone local did" story on a local news website
  15. Associazione Effetti Visivi AVFX: Non-independent; name in list

In total, I'm seeing one source that is even potentially good, and that's in a local newspaper. As far as I can see, this has all the hallmarks of WP:RUNOFTHEMILL. Ljleppan (talk) 18:08, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
Il Centro, is indeed independent and reliable. You really think Panzieri's notability is doubtful? Will add a few sources, if you wish. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 18:46, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your additions. In general, when removing notability banners it's good practice to either add the sources that conclusively support the notability or at least describe them on the talk page to save other editors' time. Otherwise the removal just reduces to a statement of "trust me, it's notable". I'll note that based on machine translations of the articles, the sources you added also look rather poor. E.g. the added Rete8 story is just a "so-and-so attends an event at the local city hall" with a few quotes. Same with IlPescara and www.viverepescara.it the latter of which is even signed "The organizers". In other words, basically advertisements. Ljleppan (talk) 05:57, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
