Military Service[edit]

The reference to Royal South Gloucestershire Militia is wrong. Lord FitzHardinge served in the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars Yeomanry Cavalry joining the Berkeley Squadron in 1856 and retiring as Commanding Officer in the rank of Lt Col in 1888.
