Frank Sturgis (Fiorni)[edit]

This article used to say that Frank attended Old Dominion University before he joined the Norfolk Police Dept. Now it says he attended VPI. ODU did not exist at that time. I do believe he attended William and Mary Norfolk Div. before joining the police dept. It seems I remember him telling me that, but I cannot be sure at this date. Sparticus says he went to VPI, I added the reference, which was a broken external link (URL has changed. Raquel Baranow (talk) 02:35, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Frank Sturgis. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Help with fr.wikipedia[edit]

There is a French Wikipedia article called "Clan Fiorini", largely by an IP editor, that claims there is a mafia family involving two people, Florio Fiorini and Frank Fiorini, i.e. Frank Sturgis. The article has citations about Frank and about Fiorio, but none of the citations actually link the two and I can see no evidence that there is such a thing as the "Clan Fiorini".

Can anyone here shed light on this? Best I can tell, the article should be deleted, but my French is not up to doing an AfD(!), so can anyone help with that, or can anyone offer citations supporting the claims in that article, or any link between Frank and Florio? In addition the fr. article for Frank Sturgis is currently at Frank Fiorini, in contravention of fr.'s WP:TITRE (the equivalent of WP:COMMONNAME). It appears to be an IP editor pushing a conspiracy theory to me, but this is not my area of expertise. Bondegezou (talk) 09:50, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Jim Garrison’s appearance on The Tonight Show[edit]

The article says that the date that Jim Garrison appeared on the Tonight Show was December 31, 1968, but it was actually January 31, 1968. See this link for a list of Tonight Show episodes for that year: List of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson episodes (1968)

I’m not very good at editing Wikipedia, so maybe someone else can insert this correction. Billtaverner (talk) 03:58, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
