a link there, I've added him ages ago when he first appeared on WWE showing, you can collect dates from that if needed. Govvy (talk) 22:58, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Black John Cena[edit]

Darren Young has stated himself that he has been called "The Black John Cena". Why is an interview/promo he's done considered "inappropriate"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.164.248.206 (talk) 02:43, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does it really need to be noted? I mean come on. --The Dark Lord of Wiki! (Your Ruler) 21:17, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is about verifiable truth. Any alleged social taboo is irrelevant. ---SilentRAGE! 15:09, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Darren Young's age[edit]

Matt Striker recently stated on commentary on NXT that Young is "under 26 years old." That contradicts the age that is set here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.239.244.164 (talk) 15:21, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

On Sam Roberts Wrestling podcast episode 29, he states that he is 31 years old and that it's listed wrong on Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.255.14.212 (talk) 20:05, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Darren Young (wrestler)Darren Young – Due to all the mainstream coverage of his homosexuality, I think it's clear he is the primary topic. The two footballers he shares his name with are virtually unknown outside their home countries, while this wrestler works for an international organization. GeicoHen (talk) 22:40, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support the recent coverage wouldn't be enough alone, but page view statistics show that the wrestler seems to have been the primary topic since 2010. Google news and web search are also dominated by coverage of the wrestler. Peter James (talk) 17:40, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support I agree. It's evident that he's been the primary topic for a while. Much like when I had to move Luke James. Teammm talk

  • Oppose. I disagree. No clear primary topic here. The fact he "works for an international organization" is irrelevant. The important fact is whether a large proportion of people will have heard of him. The answer is no. -- Necrothesp (talk) 09:49, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The wrestler has ten times the coverage of the scottish soccer player, who is more popular than the english one. Teammm talk

So Americans like wrestlers and there are lots more Americans writing fanboy drivel online than Europeans, as there are far more of them. So what? -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:46, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Has anyone heard of those two footballers? The wrestler is pretty clearly the most notable one. All news results cover him. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 17:53, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your opinion, Necrothesp. However, the reliable sources, not blogs, are clear who's WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Teammm talk

  • Support Obvious primary topic. Whether people have heard of him or not is truly irrelevant - he's clearly the most known. He has the most amount of incoming links, his page views are much higher than the two footballers, and he has the most usage in reliable sources - that's all of the primary topic criteria. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 17:53, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support He is the primary topic.LM2000 (talk) 18:51, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
