[edit]There's problems with this article; for one thing, it should mention the death of Furnivall at some point, probably at the end. The ending is abrupt and odd.--Prosfilaes 22:39, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
Is this the same "Frederick J. Furnivall" to whom "The English and Scottish Popular Ballads" (edited by Francis James Child) is dedicated? If so, some mention might be made. -- Roger Priddle 206.172.209.41 (talk) 11:54, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, same man - Furnivall dedicated his edition of the Percy Folio to Child as far as I can remember. I try and find a reference. ANB (talk) 18:15, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
