Council Members[edit]

Does anyone have the names of all the council members, or at least that one woman who keeps popping up.

Off topic[edit]

This article isnt about the history of the jaffa nor that of the resistance. It seems like this is a doppleanger article for the Jaffa (Stargate) article. However the free Jaffa nation still deserves its own page, I think the article should be refocused.

the jaffa nation cannot be understood out of its context. considering the weight of "free jaffa nation" in the context of stargate sg-1. it's huge. i added the background and history sections because the concept of the free jaffa nation has to be appreciated in its context. it also actually describes what the free jaffa nation actually means. let's not mention that the article before didnt even mention what they were free FROM. i'll make you happy and put the first two sections into a "background and history" over-section. -- Alfakim --  talk  16:47, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

merge?[edit]

A merger is not the right direction, the Jaffa and the Free Jaffa Nation are to different things, Especially considering that there are Jaffa who are not even members of the Free Jaffa Nation such as the Sodan.--67.37.83.100 18:15, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I reckon we should merge Free Jaffa Nation into Jaffa (Stargate). The former is merely a subset of the history of the latter. Free Jaffa Nation can redirect to a section in the Jaffa article. -- Alfakim --  talk  15:58, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps. But considering what just happened to this article... LD 18:08, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
what just happened to this article? -- Alfakim --  talk  14:56, 5 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, what did just happen to this article?--12.159.57.2 22:06, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Revert[edit]

I like it the way it was before January.--Elatanatari 13:08, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Jaffa High Council[edit]

I suggest that we merge the article of the Jaffa High Council with that of the Free Jaffa Nation because it isn't a long article and in my opinion doesn't need an own page. If I'm wrong tell me. Diabound00 13:24, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As the Jaffa High Council article is a stub, and the JHC was the first government of the FJN, these two articles should be merged. Lady Aleena 04:27, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Revamp of article[edit]

I changed it to fit with standard country articles, using France as a template. LD 03:47, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Erm...this is a country[edit]

I would argue that this is a (granted, fictional) country article and hence should be formatted accordingly. LD 20:45, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Dakara.jpg[edit]

Image:Dakara.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
