Commons:Deletion requests/File:Kansas City Montage.jpg[edit]

Nelson Museum of Art Courtyard

The photo of the Nelson Museum of Art in Kansas City (File:Nelson-art-gallery1.jpg) was deleted, because it contained the "unfree sculpture by Oldenburg" (the giant shuttlecock), similar to File:Nelson Museum of Art Courtyard.jpg. That giant shuttlecock is a minor portion of the image, and I would think that "Freedom of panorama" should apply. An image of the giant shuttlecock alone is protected, but here it's only a minor portion of a large image.

Secondly, I don't know how to find the discussion accompanying that deletion: Was there any discussion of freedom of panorama? If no, I think this is a case of excessive and counterproductive hypervigilance. Comments? Thanks, DavidMCEddy (talk) 16:10, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Number of images[edit]

The article currently has 17 uncensored images and 5 censored. How many of each are needed to make the points intended? Fewer, I would suggest. 2601:642:4600:3F80:751C:58D8:4FB4:6697 (talk) 23:16, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
