Are Jehovah's Witnesses permitted with freedom of religion is in United Arab Emirates? Thanks --Standforder (talk) 00:35, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Atheists? After ploughing my way through this lengthy and otherwise comprehensive article, I found no information about attitudes towards atheists. I'm an atheist myself, and looking to emigrate to the UAE, so would appreciate any information on that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.240.61.2 (talk) 06:31, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just to live or to receive citizenship? It's completely OK for non-citizens to declare their ateism, without propagating. YOMAL SIDOROFF-BIARMSKII (talk) 06:07, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Though You may experience being avoided if You declare it, especially if You emphasise on it. YOMAL SIDOROFF-BIARMSKII (talk) 06:10, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New developments[edit]

February 2019, the United Arab Emirates hosted a conference to discuss the challenge of promoting interfaith understanding and diversity, as well as how to foster human rights, religious freedom, and combat violent extremism.

Maybe add these steps that the UAE is taking to advance religious freedom? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1702:42D0:4140:8071:7840:9596:93D4 (talk) 20:00, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
