frongoch was broken up in to 2 seperate camps , the irish prioners in the south camp , while germans were in the north camp

there was a south camp where the old distillery buildings were situated and is the site of the school ,the north camp was wooden sheds .The german prisoners arrived in 1914 but left in 1915 well before the irish arrived. Two of the houses and two of the bungalows (the white painted rendered ones ) were built by Liverpool corporation as part of the Llyn Celyn project that drowned Capel Celyn. the germans never shared the camp with the irish ,the two camps were separeted by the road to frongoch railway station, the primary school is on the site of south camp where the distillery buildings were situated , the memorial stone is actually on the road going north from frongoch and is outside the actual camp boundary the top of the north camp where it bordered the church (demolished in 70's) is now covered by 11 houses —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.185.240.123 (talk) 16:15, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of Internees involved in the Easter Rising[edit]

There seem to be (at least) three problems with this section: 1. It lacks sources; 2. It seems arbitrary and very selective 3. Quite unsurprisingly it includes many (apparently) non-notable individuals. I propose that it be radically shortened and changed to "List of notable internees involved in the Easter Rising." So the re-addition for a third time here of Batt Burke (who is apparently "a relative" of the anon IP editor) comes with the edit summary: "Martin Evans please read University of Revolution and relevant records before removing factually correct entries." So it seems the 1987 book University of Revolution by Sean O'Mahony, or some other "relevant records" need to be added as sources for the 75 unsupported entries in that section. Even if they were added, however, it does not really address WP:MEMORIAL for all those individuals who are not themselves notable. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:09, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notable names only[edit]

So the full list of names is here, arranged by place of origin. Why certain of these have been included here and not others is not clear. I propose that the section be changed to include only "Notable internees", with the source available for anyone to check the non-notable internees.
