Hey, coverage of Hanssen including about their NRHP works was asked about at wt:NRHP#G. A. Hanssen. then it was requested that discussion be moved to here. Fine/okay with that. Here are details posted already:
(begin of quote from wt:NRHP)
Hi Zigzig20s. Besides the Yuma County Courthouse, in Yuma, Arizona, which you already identified (which is also associated with / credited to Ralph Swearingen), he is associated with four more NRHP listings (with attribution as appears in NRIS):
The above was from running this search using the http://elkman.net/nrhp/'s "Query by architect". Checking also for any having a likely spelling variation in NRIS, I see there are some other "Hansen" sites in Iowa, but these appear not to be related. These are:
P.S. Also the John C. Schricker House article says Hanssen "was also responsible for the rectory at Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Central Fire Station". And perhaps the NRHP documents provide more, e.g. the Buffalo school one mentions his opening his Davenport office around 1890, and about two draftsmen/architects he worked with, etc. --Doncram (talk) 07:34, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hanssen House, 1908; Davenport Outing Club building, 1902 (one of several architects credited on plan block; The Normedna Apartments, W. 3rd St.built for William Wiese; the Maas Building, Gaines St and W. 3rd, c 1901; 1800 E. River Dr., the C. J. Von Maur house, 1904-1906. I have pulled a number of newspaper clippings about Hanssen and have included info in two site inventories I have written, am writing. Happy to share what I have. marion_meginnis@msn.com 50.81.122.247 (talk) 03:41, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
