G4S has recently fired aproximately 75 employees in the last months.

This company is going to implode! The marrital team at the top of the U.S. team, has fired approximately 75 employees. Many of these being 24+ year employees, from back in the Wackinhut days. The finance department is now headed by an incompitant team, moral in the feild is at an all time low due to lost leaders and corporate support. By the way, six figure bonuses were being made at the top regularly while the the lower management and people at the lower runs didn't even recieve a cost of living increase year after year. Don't take this post as truth, investigate for yourself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:587:4300:2A7A:FF:F7EC:8EBB:D744 (talk) 01:48, 31 July 2017 (UTC)

2016 Orlando shooting

According to the AP, Omar Mateen, the gunman who killed dozens at an Orlando, Fla., LBGT night club on June 12, 2016, was an employee of G4S. Sca (talk) 21:51, 12 June 2016 (UTC)

They have over 600,000 employees, while his actions are very notable, unless there is a strong connection made between his employment and the attack, I don't think it's necessary to add to this article. Sepsis II (talk) 21:57, 12 June 2016 (UTC)
Understood. Just throwing it out there for those involved or interested in the article. Sca (talk) 22:22, 12 June 2016 (UTC)
PS: According to a Tweet from CBS correspondent Omar Villafranca, G4S issued a "shocked and saddened" statement in which it confirmed that Mateen had been a G4S employee since 2007. Sca (talk) 22:45, 12 June 2016 (UTC)
There seems to have been some connection between his status as a G4S employee and his gun permits. Sca (talk) 01:18, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
It does belong in this article. G4S hired him after he'd been fired by the Florida Department of corrections for making frightening remarks. He had a serious juvenile conviction on his record. He made claims of terroristic inclinations while on the job for G4S and the Florida Sheriff where he worked on the entrance security contract staff asked that he be removed from that position because of his remarks, and G4S simply moved to him at a less public post, entrance security at a gated community. They faked his psych clearance, that allowed him to concealed carry on the job, as they had done for over 1,500 others and got fined for it by the state of Florida. G4S had the fox guarding the henhouse. Activist (talk) 09:14, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
