GPA page status
[edit]Studying the deletion log, I saw that GPA was accidentally believed to re-direct here to prepare a move of this dis-ambiguation page 3 days before I wrote this message. For a Wikipedian who has the ability to view deleted edits, please check the deletion log around March 8 2006 to see whether before then they changed GPA from a re-direct to Grade (education) to a re-direct to this dis-ambiguation page. I am a Brit and have never heard of GPA meaning grade point average. I would love to move this page to GPA to eliminate what I feel is systemic bias towards the US. A quick check of search engines suggested that GPA has many other meanings with the educational meaning being by no means the most common. But a more important consideration is what links to GPA and I have to admit that there the overwhelming usage is the educational one. -- RHaworth 16:44, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
