[edit]I'm not sure how useful it is to make a distinction between 5101 and 4100. 5101-10, 5150-5199 and 4100-4130 were all built before the war to diagram A9. 4130-4159 were built after the war, but also to diag A9. 4160-4179 were built under BR to diag A14, which was an increased superheat boiler which is the only practical distinction. Its unclear from RCTS whether the increased superheat boilers were restricted to the 4160s, or, as happened with most classes, swapped onto earlier locomotives. 212.159.44.170 (talk) 17:53, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
