Demographics[edit]

I added plenty of sources showing the Gadabursi component of this district, but yet again, unwarranted removals are being done. I reverted page back to valid sources. The Aqoon One 21:25, 6 July 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aqooni (talkcontribs)

You have been advised on other pages Talk:Tog Wajaale, Talk:Gabiley by other editors as well as myself that Gadabursi make up a minority within the district, you also were given adequate citations indicating the majority group within the district in these discussions, yet you continue to persistently make disruptive edits across a number of page. Please stop and discuss contentious edits instead of trying to force your POV. This behaviour risks your account getting blocked. --Kzl55 (talk) 22:24, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Kzl55, seems that this particular user Aqooni is back again trying to disrupt the Gabiley pages with erroneous edits. I noticed on his talk page that he's also pushing a tribalistic agenda, and insulting users who call him out on his agenda. I urge you to report him and reverse his edits and I will as well. There is no point engaging with such a hate filled individual.

Thank you for your good work brother Kzl55. Keep fighting the good fight. It seems our pages are under attack.

Demographics[edit]

These Gadabursi trolls are getting annoying. How on earth is gabiley shared? The city mayor and vice mayor are Jabril Abokor. There are 20 MPs in gabiley. 15 are Jabril Abokor, 2 are Abdullah Abokor, 1 is madigan, 1 is akisho and 1 is gurgura. Where the hell is gadabursi mps? Because your clan is none-existent in gabiley region.

Gabiley district clan majority has been proven to be 95% Jabril Abokor. The largest minority are Abdullah Abokor who make up 2% and other clans such as Madigan, Akisho and Gurgura all make up 1%. Gadabursi are even smaller than madigan and Akisho in gabiley region. They are none-exstinent after east Dilla.

Fact matter is there are more Jabril Abokor in Awdal than gadabursi in Gabiley region. In fact Jabril Abokor inhabit huge chunk of land in north-eats of Awdal and southern Awubere district.

Gabiley District is wholly dominated by Jabril Abokor and Dilla is the border between Jabril Abokor and Gadabursi, so how on earth do you guys live any where near wajaale and khalabaydh? Stop being delushional, they are completley dominated by Cali Jabril and Reer Yoonis. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Habar Awal king (talkcontribs) 10:09, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Above comment is pure fiction with no proof or source behind those outlandish fantasies. Also if it was proven Gadabursi do reside in this district, why is their presence constantly being removed? Whether or not they are a minority, they still reside in the district and there is plenty of sources to prove their presence. Simple as. There is no cause for unwarranted removals of a population who reside in this district. The Aqoon One 02:17, 8 July 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aqooni (talkcontribs)

Here are some sources listing proof Gadabursi reside in this district.

It states that the Gadabursi Reside in the Gabiley District.

Here is the line that should be added in the page, clear with sources. The Gadabursi presence on this page is being removed without cause, when they reside in this district, the proof is as follows.

The Gadabursi also reside in Gabiley, with a variety of lineages. The most prominent sub-clan of the Gadabursi that reside in this district, is the Mahad Case, but the Makahiil also reside in Gabiley as well.[1][2][3][4] The Aqoon One 05:37, 8 July 2017 (UTC)

I have edited the page to include all groups, I hope this brings an end to this dispute. Regarding your last line, adding multiple segments for each group (Tolja'lo, Gadabursi, Akisho) is unnecessary, seeing as they all are minority groups. --Kzl55 (talk) 17:09, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Any edit that refers saying Gabiley region is shared or diverse will be removed. Gabiley region is a purely inhabited by Jibril Abokor and have been proven to be the exlusive residents. All your sources doesn't mean or prove anything and I can show you thousands of sources of Jibril abokor having large presence in Awdal and Awebuere district and they even have their own MP's and tuulo's there unlike Gadabursi who has none within Gabiley district. Madigan and Akisho has more rights to claim Gabiley region than Gadabursi, however, they all makeup less than 5% and that's just me being nice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Khysion (talkcontribs) 14:35, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Gadabursi Presence in this district[edit]

It cannot be denied that the Gadabursi reside in this district. There are plenty of sources that indicate that, and I have included some below. Use of the word "exclusive" in terms of the Habr Awal residing in this district is clearly not correct and indicates a false reality. Any vandal like editing will be further reported to a moderator. I have issued 1 warning to a user already , for their disregard of Wikipedia policies.

Akisho Presence[edit]

The Akisho probably do reside in this town, but the sources being used are not mentioned they have minority status at all. Within this link Linkjan2014 posted as previously known as source 3. http://www.refworld.org/docid/3ae6ab6760.html%7C, no where is the word minority, being used when describing the presence of the Akisho in Gabiley, but they are still including it. Disruptive editing. Also user has not even included the source properly as it is showing errors when displaying on the page. I have since corrected those errors and edited the page to show and reflected what the sources listed state. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aqooni (talkcontribs) 02:38, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Gadabursi lies[edit]

I've provided five authentic sources and removed the poorly claimed sources. I'll explain further below.

You've written on the main article that the Gabiley District is exclusively inhabited by the Isaaq, which is an obvious mis truth, because the sources you have purposely removed show the Gadabursi presence within the district. I will report these actions to a moderator. Aqooni (talk) 18:39, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'll just say it's wholly dominated by Jibril Abokor. No need to put in minority clans because every region always has minorities but for Gabiley region the governor and vice governor is Jibril Abokor proving that the district isn't shared but thank you for reminding me it say exclusive. Haltshobe (talk) 21:06, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Gadabursi Presence[edit]

The Gadabursi presence in this district cannot be denied. There is no need for their presence to be removed. I can only conclude it's a tribal agenda against them. Below is what was re-instated on the article. Aqooni (talk) 18:49, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There is no Gadabursi settlement in Gabiley region because there are 22 MP's in Gabiley district and almost all of them are Jibril Abokor while there is not a single Gadabursi MP representing the Gabiley district because they are non-existent over there. The vandalising user called Aqooni provided very poor sources and has been repeating these nonsense since last year. So I ask all the real users like Linkjan2014 and Koodbuur to please revert the original to my page and the Mods to keep an eye on this user. Thank you!

I think it is fair to include the presence of Gadabursi as a minority group in the demographics along with Akisho and Toljeclo, as they are mentioned in various sources. However it is redundant to mention the specific subclans of Gadabursi that may reside in the district as sources indicate that Gadabursi are a minority group [1], and only partially inhabit Gabiley District [2]. The same source used to list the subclans of Gadabursi also lists numerous subclans of Jibril Abokor that inhabit Gabiley District, so it is not neutral to list the Gadabursi subclans present in the district while omitting the Jibril Abokor subclans. Koodbuur (talk) 19:31, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Koodbuur I think it's fair to conclude that the district isn't exclusively JA which the user is disputing but you need to understand that every region has minorities even Borama. I've provided sources where HA has settlements in Lughaya, Dolls, Awdal and Awubere but it has been denied so they should get the same treatment here and there is no need to put minorities in because the sources already explains it. Borama has minorities even every cities. Should we also include that even though their sources already provide it? Not to mention the governor and vice governor is Jibril Abokor proving that the district isn't shared. Heck the largest minority in Gabiley District is Abdullah Abokor which is brothers of Jibril Abokor. The rest are irrelevant and too small especially Gadabursi that hasn't even got a single MP. Miledisco (talk) 21:19, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Consistency should be maintained between articles. If we are to include minority groups in this article, then the same should be extended to the other pages you have mentioned. I offered my suggestion as a compromise to prevent further edit warring. Koodbuur (talk) 14:40, 1 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
