Prod removal[edit]

The prod was removed on the basis that "this is a regional mall with more than 500,000 square feet of retail space". Apparently, by being 503,000 feet, it meets that editor's standard. I was unaware that that was our guideline -- most such malls of under 1 million square feet, I have been told, have the usual outcome of it being agreed that they do not warrant a stand-alone article. Where might I find the above-indicated approach supported? Thanks.--Epeefleche (talk) 23:46, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've handed a selection of article from reliable sources to improve verifiability and meet the notability thresholds. This article could be expanded significantly by a motivated editor using these sources. - Dravecky (talk) 07:37, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. That's great. Beautiful work. Any thoughts as to my questions?--Epeefleche (talk) 08:52, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
As I indicated in the other thread, that's been my experience when US shopping mall articles are taken to AfD. These are regional malls, the only or primary enclosed shopping center in a large geographical area, garnering significant ongoing attention from the news media. Even if coverage were to wane or cease (or the mall shut down), notability is not temporary. - Dravecky (talk) 09:20, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
