[edit]This is sort of a nasty hatchet-job by Wikipedia standards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.245.217.63 (talk) 22:49, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
I agree. This is not a balanced presentation of a persons life and work. There are no positives to balance an unrelenting stream of attacks. At least one is based on a non-existent source (September Eventh History Magazine). Zweibieren (talk) 18:08, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
I inserted a POV-Check note because I do not feel that the discussion is a balanced presentation of information on the subject. It is ture that references are provided. Indeed, so much so as to suggest that the author was well aware of introducing bias. At least one refeence, "September Eventh History Magazine", does not exist under that name or the more likely name of "September Eleventh History Magazine." The cited article does appear to exist, but in a strident forum.
In short, the article subsections should be eliminated or the article revised to a proper biography, in which the existing subsections could be a part.
Disclaimer: I have no association with the article's subject, though my wife read one of the subject's books. Zweibieren (talk) 20:43, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Why is her 1975 book "Hustling," which was based on a series of exposes written for New York Magazine mentioned in this?
Updated this quite extensively to balance out what seemed like a pointedly slanderous article. Removed the stub class and POV-check.
Updating Article
[edit]I'm currently working through Sheehy's autobiography and other sources to expand this article and to pull in more citations. I would appreciate some help with a good copy-edit. Jaldous1 (talk) 19:28, 12 October 2016 (UTC)

According to these articles, she was 83 and not 82. Also, her birthday was on November 25th and not November 27th.
