date of death

[edit]

Note that the date of death given (and cited) here, Tuesday 11 December 2012, is different from the date of death given in her New York Times obituary, Monday 10 December 2012. [1]. I suppose it will sort itself out. - Nunh-huh 13:13, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if this is an instance of one source reporting the death as occurring on the date in Moscow, and another source reporting on the date it occurred in terms of local time zone. - Nunh-huh 23:34, 14 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The NYT is usually pretty good with these sorts of details, but they're only human. All I can say is the Russian WP has her dying on Tuesday 11 December. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 23:38, 14 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And taking another look around the web, it does seem that the 11th is the almost universally reported date. I'm content in believing your suggestion that the NYT is human, then :) - Nunh-huh 23:41, 14 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The search for non-human sentient life continues ...  :) -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 02:11, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
