Ayanl3, kindly stop trying to reinsert unreferenced content. Neither of the sources you try to assert for the 5,700 figure mention the 'Galmudug Security Force' - actually the most detailed only talks of 'regional militias' in Galmudug; there are lots of clan militia. To say 'the GSF numbers 5,700' because the ORA says there are 5,700 regional militias in Galmudug is WP:SYNTH. Buckshot06 (talk) 22:35, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The assessment carried out by the Amisom team sent by the FGS assessed State forces not some random militias in galmudug. The amisom team did a head count on the GSF and in the report they are 5,754 strong. And for your information, state security forces are sometimes also referred to as regional forces/fighters. The ORA says “The total strength (number) of the regional forces were: jubaland: 5,715, galmudug: 5,754, Southwest: 3,231, puntland: 5,248 (police” Ayanle 00:06, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

Should you wish to say the AMISOM ORA found that the GSF had 5,754 personnel, you will have find a source say "the AMISOM ORA found that the Galmudug Security Force had 5,754 personnel'. '5,754 regional militias counted in Galmudug' means that they found 5,754 regional militia, not that there is a force called the 'Galmudug Security Force' that has 5,754 personnel. I am removing the numbers (again). Buckshot06 (talk) 00:17, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No anywhere in the report does it say militias were counted by amisom. The reason behind the assessment was to assess and count regional/state security forces including galmudug security force. Galmudug Security force numbering 5,754 is mentioned in the report. There is no “ militia(s)” or fighters other then Those of galmudug and FGS in Galmudug. According to the first source, it is said “Galmudug ‘’has’’ the largest regional fighters”. And in the report itself, the report does not name each security force individually, but combined them together under “regional forces”, which is synonymous with security forces.

None of the sources you've linked to says "AMISOM counted 5,754 Galmudug Security Forces", and thus you cannot cite any of those reports as saying the size of the 'Galmudug Security Forces' was 5,754 strong for Wikipedia WP:REFERENCES purposes. Not that it is mentioned in the FMS ORA, but the vast majority of armed people in Galmudug are clan-linked, effectively clan or ASWJ militias which may or may not be affiliated with the PM/President of Galmudug at the time.
