the name of the airbase is not gamal abdul el nasser but gamal abdel nasser or gamal abdul nasser. the term abdul el does not make sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.117.153.37 (talk) 15:50, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube video[edit]

There's an excellent late 1950s RAF Transport Command video called 'Air-Head' on YouTube showing movements at El-Adem here: [1] - BTW, the station sign on the film shows that the station name was El-Adem, with a hyphen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.112.67.206 (talk) 21:13, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Airport renamed, reopened[edit]

The airport was reopened as Tobruk International Airport in 2013. This article should be retained for its historical value and not merged into the Tobruk Airport page. Cptmrmcmillan (talk) 19:38, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
