I'll take this JAGUAR  18:43, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Initial comments[edit]

  • "The first narrative arc follows a civil war" - are these arcs chronological?
  • The lead almost summarises the article per WP:LEAD but nothing is mentioned on the production history
  • Some WP:OVERLINK and too many lists in the Cast and characters section, I would recommend smoothing some paragraphs out by writing more prose. Though considering this is a cast section, it might be OK
  • "He called Weiss to share his excitement, and Weiss finished the thousand-page book in "maybe 36 hours"" - but the first book is not 1000 pages?
  • "adapting the novels at a rate of about 0.8 minutes per page for the first three seasons" - why not put this in seconds?
  • "BlueBolt, based in Great Britain" - United Kingdom
  • "The Westerosi characters of Game of Thrones speak British English" - it makes it sound like it's a different language
  • "HBO commissioned free albums of rap songs about the series, called Catch the Throne" - unreferenced
  • Awards section unreferenced

References[edit]

  • Ref 17 is dead
  • Ref 1 is dead, and is it also reliable? It appears to be a travel website
  • Ref 63 is dead (afraid I can't link the PDF here)
  • Ref 149 is dead
  • I can't go on any further but there are a few more dead links in the toolserver, they can be deleted from there

On hold[edit]

Looks like a overall well written article, so I'll leave this on hold for the standard seven days to see if all of the above have been addressed. I realise the nominator is inactive so I'll see if I can find anyone who wants to help out JAGUAR  19:00, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Close - not listed[edit]

I'm sorry to do this, but no activity has been seen within the time period given and no improvements have been made to the GAN, so I'll have to close this. Please feel free to re-nominate once ready JAGUAR  15:34, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jaguar: I know that it's a bit late but I have worked on this and almost everything you have said above. So I would appreciate it if you have time to have a look and give it a go. Should I nominate the article for a "Good Artice"?. AffeL (talk) 17:42, 21 August 2016
@AffeL: you can renominate this at GAN, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to review it straight away as I've got my hands full with another GAN at the moment. It looks in much better shape than it did last time. JAGUAR  20:18, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
