Hello Guys, This is Praveen Jha" Kalyan jee" S/o Late Badri Narayan Jha, I want to share something about Gangdwar Village.

1. . What is the meaning of Gangdwar?

Gangdwar makes to the two words, GANGA + DWAR, As you know GANGA - Ganga is the sacred River Gangdwar is inhabited Ganga's Riverbank, So people called this Gangdwar. There are many famous place in Gangdwar, as like KHADI-BHANDAR BHAWAN, UPENDRA PUSTAKALAY, KAMALA BEACH ,HATIYA-GACHHI.

This village comes into Andhra-Thadhi Block, Madhubani- District, BIHAR- State, INDIA Gangdwar is also a Panchayat, Village-Gaur Chapahi, Rajanpura comes into this Panchayat. Populations of this village are 20 thousend , Panchayat divided in 14 wards. There are Two religions people lives in this village HINDU & MUSLIM. Cummunication Language is Maithili & Hindi. 65% people educated here. this credit goes to High school Gangdwar & NGO Gramothan Seva Sansthan. In this village Hospital is also available which is famous by the name " GANGDWAR SWASTHYA KENDRA" this Hospital is provided six beds facilities also free check-up and medicines.
